Event Review – A huge success!!!

Thank you to all that came out on Dec 5th to the first Windows Phone Camp 2009 at the Tampa, FL Microsoft office. [See similar events in your area here]
It was exciting to see so many participants made it to the event. By filling out the eval forms everyone helped prove that there is an need for more Mobile events in the area.
It was interesting to see the crowd almost double later in the day once the beginner sessions passed. Here are few more pictures, compare top one to the bottom two:

Besides Nikita Polyakov, who organized and spoke at this event, Kevin Wolf helped with planning in addition to presenting 4 sessions!!!

A good size group stayed for dinner and participated in the StartUp event adding to the numbers there too.

To clarify one more time, this is a FREE Windows Phone Developer Camp.
A Code Camp style event with one track of set speakers. We encourage conversations and networking during breaks, at lunch and in the evening. Event starts at around 8:45AM, welcome time at 8:30AM.

Windows Phone Camp 2009 Tampa Kicks-Off

It’s official – Windows Phone Camp is happening in Tampa, FL on December 5th 2009 !!!
The event will be similar to a CodeCamp, not BarCamp style event. There will be a schedule with tracks, topics and speakers. The event is Developer focused. THE EVENT IS FREE!
Possibly with enough interest – OpenSpace/Collaboration area and a Consumer track were attendees can learn and see changes in Windows Phone 6.5 that improve the phone experience.
Being the first Windows Phone/Mobile focused event in the area we need your help:
- Please pre-RSVP so we can place an order for an appropriate amount of food and plan the seating.If we show lots of interest it will be easier to get additional prizes, more speakers and sponsors for the event making it even better for all of us.
